Building trust for a Madinah university program online
Zayyan Academy connects Malaysian Muslims with Arabic language programs at the Islamic University of Madinah. The website had to earn deep trust — parents and students don't commit to an overseas program without feeling completely confident.
Program types clearly presented
Shortest program on offer
Logistics handled end-to-end
The challenge
Zayyan Academy offers something genuinely rare: access to Arabic language programs at the Islamic University of Madinah, including options for women — a group the university traditionally does not admit directly. But a rare opportunity is worthless if it can't be communicated clearly online.
Their previous presence was fragmented across social media. Prospective students had to piece together information from different posts. Parents needed reassurance about visas, accommodation, and safety. The site needed to do three things well: explain the programs, establish credibility, and get people to reach out.
What we built
- Calming, trust-forward design — an earthy green palette rooted in Islamic aesthetics, with the iconic Masjid Nabawi gate as the hero image. The visual language signals authenticity before a single word is read.
- Three clear program tracks — Intensive Arabic Course, Arabic Teacher Certification, and Quranic Recitation (Talaqqi) — each with format options (physical in Madinah, online, or local instructor). Visitors know exactly what they're signing up for.
- End-to-end logistics section — visa, accommodation, and transportation are all handled by Zayyan Academy. Making this explicit removes the biggest objection for families considering an overseas program.
- Bilingual content (BM & English) — language switcher built in, serving both Malay-first and English-comfortable visitors without duplicating pages.
- Testimonials and news section — alumni voices and coverage of the CEO's institutional visits reinforce that this is a legitimate, connected organisation, not a pop-up agency.
- WhatsApp-first conversion — every CTA flows to WhatsApp. High-trust, considered purchases like overseas education don't close on a web form; they close in conversation.
Design decisions worth noting
Generic education sites default to white and blue. Zayyan's green evokes the Prophet's Mosque and creates immediate category separation — visitors know this is an Islamic education provider within seconds.
"As short as 2 weeks" is the answer to the biggest objection — that studying abroad is a long, complex commitment. We put that front and centre rather than burying it in body copy.
The result
Prospective students now have a single, confident destination to understand the full offering, validate the academy's credentials, and take the next step. The site handles the pre-qualification work — by the time someone WhatsApps Zayyan, they already understand the programs and logistics, making enrolment conversations shorter and more productive.
"Ramai yang WhatsApp kami sekarang dah tahu program apa yang mereka nak — senang nak close. Dulu kena explain dari awal setiap kali."
